2009 Year in Review

Recently I attended a Year in Review scrapbook class.  The kit was put together by Lisa Wilkinson.  There were various patterned papers, cardstock, and lots of embellies.   We completed 2 pages in class.  Then I went wild and did the rest on my own.  I couldn't wait for instructions...the papers they were calling me...

March 1st page (above) completed in class

Some things were precut, like papers, flowers (pink part)

and butterflies.  Then we painted and glittered them.  Very pretty!

I added some machine stitching.

You really can't tell from the photo, but there's 6 clear pockets on this page.

Idea taken from Lisa Wilkinson...don't know if I made it the same though.  I went by memory.

I love these papers!!

Such fun...and did I mention I love the embellies?

Reflections Technique

I've been busy scrapbooking/playing with my sister that's home from CA.  But I did manage to try the reflections techinque.  It's fun and easy but messy!
